Virtual Aesthetic Simulator (VAS) is a web-based simulator running on PC, Mac and iPad that allows to design 3D simulations of watch defects on any watch part.
VAS has been designed in collaboration with the Geneva School of Watchmaking to improve the teaching of aesthetic control of watch parts. It can also be used to realistically document the defects found.
Simulations can be shared and archived very simply thanks to an internet link or a QR-code. They can also be associated with training or quality control documents.
Archiving and collaboration modules are also under development. They allow to consult simulations outside the simulator and to control a simulation remotely in front of several people.
